Tony Monaco - My Mentor
My favorite musical instrument is the organ. And my favorite organist is the world renown Tony Monaco.

I'm fortunate to know Tony - he is a first class human being and an incredible educator. I've studied with him and am amazed at how much he has helped me improve my playing. Check him out: www.b3monaco.com
Music is a huge part of my life. I enjoy playing keyboards, guitar, and occasionally drums. I also have a professional studio where I do recordings for myself and others, restore old records, do voice overs, and work on unique audio signal processing problems . Last, but not least, I have been known to compose a song or two.
I enjoy most types of music, but have to say I am primarily a Jazz fan. There is nothing like playing jazz on the Hammond B3 organ - once you hit the groove you are in another world! And blues, another soulful expression of one's self. All said, I really do appreciate (and play) the many great ballads. You might even occasionally see me sitting at the console of a theater organ from the silent movie days!
Playing guitar is a close second to playing keyboards for me. I'm leery to mention that my first instrument was a ukulele! However, I didn't stay with the ukulele that long - most of the girls I knew were not impressed, I decided to move on to the guitar and rock star status. Ok, so I didn't become a rock star. But I have played with many great musicians!
